Perfume: a 5 ml sample or a bottle? Count the price per millilitre
Samples at a few hundred crowns look cheap, yet per millilitre they cost a multiple of a bottle. This guide shows how to compare perfumes by total and volume.

How to count
Total divided by millilitres: 5 ml at 290 CZK is 58 CZK/ml, 100 ml at 1,890 CZK is 19 CZK/ml. A sample pays only for trying.
In Parfums every offer shows its volume; compare equal volumes.
What to watch
A tester and 'no box' is a full perfume for less; a 'sample' or 'decant' is poured into another bottle, so the shop and its rating decide authenticity.
A shop without a rating is never recommended first, twice so with perfume.
Advice
A sample first, then the largest bottle you will use within two years. Eau de parfum lasts longer than eau de toilette at a similar price per ml.
