How electricity and gas prices developed

What Czech households paid per kWh since 2015, as Eurostat publishes it.

Why „coming soon“?

The energy section is still being prepared. Every amount is an estimate from the suppliers' published price lists and the regulated prices; an independent expert has not checked the calculation yet. We sign no contracts and take no commission until the Energy Regulatory Office answers our question about the rules for comparison services.

Why not our own data?

We read the suppliers' own price lists only since 2026. okt. 8.. That is not yet a series, so we do not draw one. The chart shows Eurostat's published averages instead; they include fixed fees, so they differ from the price per kWh of one price list.

Why is 2022 lower?

The second half of 2022 is lower because of the state's energy-saving tariff and the waived renewables levy, both included in the published value.
