How to choose a robot vacuum: station, mop and the total

The cheapest and the dearest robot vacuum differ by tens of thousands of crowns, and the station makes most of the gap. This guide says what you pay for and how to compare the total.

Without a station or with one

A robot without a station is emptied after every run. A station empties the bin into a bag by itself; dearer stations also wash and dry the mop and refill water.

Without carpets and with weekly cleaning you do not need a station. With a pet or daily cleaning a station saves the most time.

Models we compare today

In Robot vacuums we track among others Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra (prix en cours de relevé), Dreame X50 Ultra (prix en cours de relevé), Roborock Qrevo Curv (prix en cours de relevé) and Eufy X10 Pro Omni (prix en cours de relevé); all carry a station with a mop.

Each price is today's total including shipping to your country. Shipping differs between shops, which is why we rank by total, not by the goods price.

What to look at

The robot's height (whether it fits under a sofa and a bed), thresholds up to 2 cm, an anti-tangle brush and maps for several floors.

Station bags, filters and mops are replaced every few months; they are not in the price and never enter the robot comparison, so the cheapest 'robot' is never a filter.

When to buy

Robots drop in steps, typically when a new line arrives and before Christmas. The price chart on the product page shows whether today's price is below the 30-day minimum.

A shop without a rating is never recommended first, however cheap.
